A unified global brand website and B2C store in a scalable open-source solution
Rossini Caviar is an international luxury brand known for producing some of the finest caviar in the world for Michelin-starred and top chefs. And the world’s finest caviar requires the world’s most impressive website, as well as a digital user experience that matches the ‘Rossini taste’ – simply outstanding!
The target audience is the discerning Michelin elite, and therefore the creative delivery had to meet the strict demands expected by innovative chefs at the highest level of craftsmanship.
At Checkmate, we created an entirely new visualization and communication of caviar – we salute the “nerdiness” about caviar, where the individual caviar egg is brought into focus, showcasing its beautiful colors, size, taste notes and other technical information.
After designing the identity and the creative universe, we developed the new platform for both the brand site and e-commerce – both as an integrated solution, built ‘headless’ with an open-source backend for optimal performance and scalability, as well as minimal ongoing operational costs.
