When Thylander and KanAm set out to bring one of Copenhagen’s best-kept locations back to life, there was one problem: you can’t take a stroll through a neighbourhood that’s still closed.
So we built the entrance digitally. An image- and film-driven universe where future tenants can feel the atmosphere, explore the buildings and follow the transformation in real time.
First impressions matter quite a lot, right?
A neighbourhood locked away for 150 years. We opened it online first. Website, design & development for one of Copenhagen’s best-kept and most iconic locations. Right in the heart of the city.

Full-screen film meets calm, editorial typography. An interactive map lets you wander between Laksegade, Holmens Kanal, the car park and the new Four Seasons hotel, while the history section digs into the 150 years.
All built headless, so the Laksegade team can feed the site with news, press and new leases themselves. Without calling us every time.

How do you sell city life no one has seen yet?
For four centuries, Laksegade grew alongside the city. From sailors and merchants to the country’s largest banks. But for nearly 150 years, the gates have been closed to the public. The task: to make future tenants feel at home – and fall in love with a place they can’t visit yet.
