With Rex at the helm, chaos turns to order, and projects are steered to success with both sword and scepter.

With his impressive 205 cm, Viktor is a towering guy in the coding world, where even the smallest bug doesn’t have a chance to hide. As Tech Lead, he dribbles through digital projects with an ease that would make any basketball player envious. He’s always ready with a charming wink and smile to customers on the sidelines, just before shooting a code project into the net with a precision worth three points every time. Bonus info: Viktor is annoyingly good at poker…

Checkmate’s Head of Creative might also hold the record for being the Employee of the Month the most times in a row! Kasper has his own unique “good karma” which keeps the creative fires burning brightly. This ensures high spirits, happy clients, and crisp, user-friendly solutions.

Meet our creative polymath, Mia. Besides her sharp design skills, she excels at crocheting and singing – almost unbelievably well. Mia is hilariously funny and a bit clumsy… often spilling coffee and tripping over the office plants. Thanks to her, we no longer need laughter therapy at the office.

The agency’s computer scientist from Frederikssund juggles both code and drumsticks like a true rock star. He thinks cloud services are some of the sexiest things – only if it’s not World of Warcraft or the drumskin that needs a turn… Jakob brings both technical savvy and rhythmic flair to our team, and he never says no to a good glass of wine from Burgundy. Cheers and game on!

Jokke, party animal of the agency and self-proclaimed Arto expert, is a man of many talents. From the top: "Phenomenal front-end developer," "fisherman," and "fantastic father figure." Get ready for a meeting with Jokke, because when he puts on his consultant socks, he'll map out your entire digital future faster than you can say "HTML".

As CTO, Martin has a knack for jumping high and diving deep when it comes to developing foxy platforms, webshops, apps, and everything else that requires a cunning fox developer. And yes, of course, he has a Puch moped with a tail on it… duh!

Everyone knows that any agency needs to have an eel, and here’s ours. His name is Martin – better known as “The Eel”, and why, you might wonder? Because he’s darn good at wriggling through even the most complex technical challenges – just like a true native of Fyn in a brunsviger (Danish pastry) competition! When he’s not diving into technical seaweed, you can find him with a cup of coffee, known for always having good advice, a smart solution ready or just a good chat and a laugh.

Here we have Per, better known as “Mrs. Hansen”, and the man who swings both pots and golf clubs with unparalleled expertise. As the agency’s chef and jack-of-all-trades, Per turns lunchtime into an adventure – always with a smile and the same focus he applies to the greens or the pots. Per is a legendary figure at the agency.

Meet Sly, our coding guru. He's got a sharp eye for detail and a knack for solving even the toughest challenges. And while he may be colorblind, that doesn't stop him from delivering exceptional results. Sly codes with style – and with a unique perspective that sets him apart.

He can design and develop, he is well dressed and has Gordon Gekko as a role model. Asger plays at least 15 games of chess a day. He is from Kolding (Jylland), the CEO of the agency, an old kitesurfer and he runs 100 meters faster than you can blink. He loves his family, work, golf and great wine.

Checkmate’s chairman and partner is perhaps the most well-connected person in the entire world. Frank just knows everyone! Over 30 years of experience in TV/film, digital services and, not least, running several digital agencies, has given Frank a unique talent for whistling uncannily loudly and falsely at the same time – every single day in the office.
