**Global brand site and B2C shop in a unified, scalable open-source solution.**

Rossini Caviar is an international luxury brand acclaimed for producing some of the finest caviar in the world for Michelin-star and top chefs. And the world’s finest caviar demands the world’s best website, with a digital user experience that matches the ‘Rossini taste’ – truly outstanding!

The target audience consists of the discerning Michelin elite, demanding a creative delivery that meets the rigorous standards expected by pioneering chefs at the pinnacle of their craft.

At Checkmate, we developed an entirely new way to visualize and communicate caviar – what we call the ‘caviar geekery’, bringing each individual caviar egg into focus with true color nuances, size, flavor notes, and other technical details.

After designing the brand identity and creative universe, we developed the new platform for both the brand site and e-commerce – an integrated solution built headless with an open-source backend for maximum performance and scalability, as well as minimal ongoing operational costs.
